Trump Media to Launch Premium ‘Truth API’, Offering Fastest Access to Trump’s Posts for Wall Street

NEW YORK — Trump Media & Technology Group has reportedly proposed charging Wall Street firms as much as $100,000 per month for the fastest access to President Donald Trump’s posts on Truth Social, a move that could open a lucrative new revenue stream while raising ethical and political concerns.

According to sources familiar with the discussions, the company also offered a discounted $60,000 monthly subscription for firms willing to commit to a three-year contract.

The premium service, branded Truth API, was officially unveiled on Thursday as a licensed data feed designed to give banks, hedge funds, and trading firms near-instant access to posts from the platform’s most influential accounts. The service is scheduled to launch on August 1, though Trump Media has not disclosed pricing publicly.

The initiative reflects the growing market value of President Trump’s social media posts, which have repeatedly influenced financial markets. High-frequency trading firms are particularly interested because even a delay of a few milliseconds can translate into significant trading profits.

The proposal has drawn criticism from Democratic lawmakers and ethics watchdogs, who argue that selling faster access to presidential statements could create conflicts of interest.

Senators Ron Wyden and Elizabeth Warren condemned the plan, saying it could enrich both Wall Street firms and the Trump family while raising questions about the commercialization of presidential communications.

Trump Media has not publicly responded to the criticism. The White House referred questions about the matter to the company.

Regulatory filings show that the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust owns approximately 41% of Trump Media, with the trust managed by Trump’s children while Trump remains its beneficiary.

Despite expanding into data licensing, Trump Media continues to face stiff competition in the social media sector. Its shares have fallen roughly 27% this year, leaving the company with a market value of about $2.7 billion.
